Our church encourages the congregation to feed on the Word of God through preaching of the Word of God and regular Bible Studies. Studying and meditating the Word of God is the most essential tests of Christian discipleship. Jesus said, “If ye abide in my word then are you truly my disciples.” The reading and the studying of the Word of God to the Christian is to his spiritual soul what eating is to his physical body. God’s Word is the guide for our life, and thus it is very important for us to read, study and meditate on the Bible.
“All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.” – Hebrews 4:2
“Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
“Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” – Luke 11:28
“This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.” – Joshua 1:8.
